Arakirina ceramic plate

We've received new works from arakirina, a contemporary ceramic artist based in Hasami Town, Nagasaki Prefecture.

With a background as a textile designer, Rina's works have a painterly presence, and when displayed upright, they deepen the spatial dimension as an interior accent.

Beyond serving food or fruit, they can also be enjoyed as an ash catcher for incense.

A contemporary ceramic artist from Kanagawa Prefecture.
After studying textiles at Tama Art University and working at a textile design office in Tokyo, she moved to Hasami Town, Nagasaki Prefecture in 2018. After many years as a designer for a ceramic manufacturer, she became independent.
She is committed to expressing texture and pursuing the beauty of nature and her unique worldview.
