Arakirina ceramic plate

We've received new works by arakirina, a contemporary ceramic artist based in Hasami Town, Nagasaki Prefecture.

With a background as a textile designer, Rina's works possess a painterly presence. Displaying them upright adds depth to any interior space.

Beyond serving food or fruit, they can also be enjoyed as an ash catcher for incense burners.

A contemporary ceramic artist from Kanagawa Prefecture.
After studying textiles at Tama Art University and working at a textile design office in Tokyo, she moved to Hasami Town, Nagasaki Prefecture in 2018. After many years of working as a designer for a ceramics manufacturer, she became independent.
She is committed to expressing texture and pursuing both the beauty of nature and her own unique worldview.
