Made from brown clay called sandstone, which is derived from soil and stone.

Painted with a blue pigment called GOSU and orange and black pigments.

The exterior is finished with Shino glaze, which is characterized by fine crackle patterns, and the interior is glazed with a matte blue glaze.

This art piece features rich, layered textures, as expected from an artist with a textile background.

Born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1988.
After studying textiles at Tama Art University,
she joined a textile design firm in Tokyo.
She then moved to Hasami-cho, Nagasaki Prefecture, and
while working as a designer for Hasami ware,
she began her artistic activities in 2023.
